Testing The Waters?
Book a free consultation to explore fit.
Why book a consultation?
A free consultation is a chance for you and a potential counsellor to connect and explore whether the fit feels right. Finding a therapist who matches your needs and goals is important, and research shows that a strong therapeutic alliance, built on trust, connection, and understanding is one of the most important factors in positive outcomes.
What to Expect
When we meet online, I’ll often begin by asking if you’ve ever done a consultation with a therapist before. Some people are very familiar with the process, while for others this may be their very first step into therapy. Either way is completely normal. First sessions can feel nerve-wracking, so I’ll walk you through my process, making sure there’s space for input, adjustments, and consent.

Scheduling & Availability
I currently offer therapy sessions on Thursdays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (PST). All sessions are held virtually, making therapy more accessible and flexible to fit into your life. You can book appointments directly through my online booking system, which makes scheduling simple and secure. If you require additional flexibility outside of these hours, or if you’re interested in discussing the possibility of in-person sessions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I do my best to accommodate individual needs whenever possible. Sliding Scale
At the moment, my sliding scale spots are full. If you’d like to be added to my waitlist for sliding scale availability, please let me know.
What is sliding scale?
Sliding scale therapy offers sessions at a reduced rate to make counselling more accessible for those with fewer financial resources. This is not a “discount,” but rather a structured way to acknowledge and respond to systemic inequities that impact people’s access to care and overall health.

Every therapist approaches sliding scale a little differently, so if you’d like more details about my structure, availability, or waitlist, please reach out or book a free consultation.
Funding Options
Insurance

I accept funding through the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). If you’d like to use CVAP for sessions, feel free to email me or book a free consultation to go over your questions.
