Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore your inner world with care. Whether you’re navigating complex trauma, gender identity exploration, grief, burnout, self-criticism, or big life transitions, this work offers a supportive container for healing. I work from a queer, trans, and neurodivergent-affirming lens, integrating somatic, and parts-based approaches, while always holding a trauma-informed lens. Together, we’ll explore not just your thoughts and feelings, but also how your body holds memory, how attachment patterns shape relationships, and how identity and culture influence your sense of self. This space is for anyone moving through shifts in identity, looking to re-connect with emotions, or seeking to rebuild self-worth and self-compassion. Individual therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about supporting your growth, resilience, and connection to your inner wisdom. At your pace, we create space for both healing and possibility. Relationship Therapy
Relationships can be beautiful, complex, and sometimes deeply challenging. Whether you’re partnered, polyamorous, in open relationships, or exploring kink, relationship therapy offers support in navigating conflict, deepening intimacy, and repairing ruptures. I take a trauma-informed, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) approach that honours all the ways love and connection can look. Together, we’ll explore communication patterns, attachment styles, identity differences, and how trauma, shame, or neurodivergence may impact your relationships. We’ll also work on building tools for attunement, boundaries, and emotional safety. For folks in non-monogamous, polyamorous, or kink communities, this is a space free from judgment and stigma. Therapy is not about erasing difference, but about fostering connection where individuality and togetherness can co-exist. My goal is to help you and your partners create more understanding, trust, and resilience, so your relationships can be places of care, authenticity, and growth. Family Therapy
Families, whether chosen, biological, or blended, can be sources of love and belonging, but also of conflict, misunderstanding, and pain. Family therapy provides space to repair ruptures, navigate transitions, and strengthen bonds across differences. I work with families through an intersectional, trauma-informed lens, attending to how culture, oppression, identity, and intergenerational trauma shape dynamics. We’ll explore communication, boundaries, attachment patterns, and how each person’s needs and identities can be seen and respected. This work can support families navigating transitions such as coming out, separation, blending of families, neurodivergent needs, division of labour, or grief. It can also help unpack long-standing conflict and create more compassion across generations. Family therapy is not about perfection, rather it’s about cultivating more clarity, safety, and mutual respect. Together, we’ll work toward relationships that hold difference while nurturing connection, so your family system can become a more grounded source of support. Additional Services
Assistance with navigating complex systems, paperwork, advocacy and hormone readiness assessments
PWD Paperwork
Two 40-minute sessions Applying for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) benefits can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating complex forms, medical systems, and the emotional weight of “proving” your needs. I offer compassionate, practical support in completing PWD paperwork, ensuring your application reflects your lived experience with accuracy and care. Together, we’ll explore your strengths and challenges in ways that honour your story, while meeting the requirements of the system. This process can stir up feelings of shame, grief, or frustration. I hold space for those emotions while guiding you step-by-step through what’s needed. As a registered social worker, I am qualified to fill out section three of the PWD form, the assessor report. With thoughtful support, your application can feel less intimidating and more reflective of your reality.
Hormone Readiness Assessments
Two 40-minute sessions Beginning or continuing a gender-affirming journey can be both exciting and vulnerable. I provide hormone readiness assessments from a queer- and trans-affirming, trauma-informed perspective, centering your autonomy, dignity, and lived experience. This process is not about gatekeeping, it’s about supporting you in accessing the care you deserve, while ensuring the required documentation is completed in a respectful and affirming way. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, experiences, supports, and any questions you may have about next steps. I recognize that for many, this process can bring up anxiety, dysphoria, or frustration with medical systems. My role is to create a safe, validating space where you feel heard and affirmed, while helping you access hormones or gender-affirming care with as few barriers as possible.
System Navigation
40-minute sessions Healthcare, social services, and government systems can often feel inaccessible, confusing, and exhausting, especially for folks who are neurodivergent, disabled, or navigating multiple layers of oppression. System navigation support offers guidance in understanding options, accessing resources, and advocating for your needs. I can assist with connecting you to mental health supports, disability resources, affirming healthcare, and community programs. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for you, making overwhelming systems feel more approachable and less isolating. This service isn’t just about information, it’s about empowerment. We’ll identify barriers, strategize around them, and hold space for the emotional impact of navigating systems not built with your needs in mind. My goal is to help you move through these structures with more clarity, confidence, and support.
